REGESA APARCAMENTS I SERVEIS is born in 2001 with the founding objective of meeting the needs of residential and services parking in urban areas of cities and become a “key” element for urban mobility. Thus, since its inception, the company's business activities are focused on the following areas:

  • Short and Long Stay Car Parks
  • Parquings for residents

These facilities provide large enough parking spaces at a reasonable price meeting the highest technical requirements in quality urban surroundings. One of the aims is to make car parks into an important facility, improving overall planning quality and paying particular attention to the replace of the surface urbanisation, accesses and the elimination of architectural barriers. In some cases, the parking of cars is complemented with facilities for bicycles and motorcycles. Starting from its main aim, REGESA APARCAMENTS I SERVEIS designs and promotes de construction, on its own initiative or by others, of spaces intended for parking all kind of vehicles, and takes on their management and operating, either directly or indirectly.

Within the framework of the same aim, REGESA APARCAMENTS I SERVEIS it carried out economic, planning, land and environmental studies, analyses and surveys related to the parking of vehicles in the Barcelona area.

As a result of these studies and analysis, in 2005, REGESA APARCAMENTS I SERVEIS started up the activity of the Park & Ride Besòs that becomes the first space and overnight parking for campers of Catalonia, and was awarded the same year with the 2005 Mobility Award granted by the Barcelona City Council (Mobility Pact Barcelona).

REGESA APARCAMENTS I SERVEIS devotes a considerable part of its resources to preventive maintenance and the progressive renewal of its facilities. This, together with ongoing attention to technological developments, enables the Society to offer its customers constant improvements in service, such as the introduction of video surveillance service in each of the car parks and, consequently, to create the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat Control Centre, as a essential instrument that enables remote monitoring and management of all its own network of car parks and serve others through partnerships.

This values and the commitment with sustainable mobility leads REGESA APARCAMENTS I SERVEIS to incorporate new environmentally sustainable elements in the car parks, as example the firm commitment to introduce charging points for electric vehicles in the entire car park network managed.

Complementing this aime REGESA APARCAMENTS I SERVEIS carries out other actions aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens, designing and promoting the construction of urban facilities according to needs identified and on behalf of local governments, the Consell Comarcal del Barcelonès and its sole shareholder, the Societat Urbanística Metropolitana de Rehabilitació i Gestió, SA (REGESA).
